Prize Advisory Panel and Management
Established in 2005 to honor Tony Pizzigati, his work and his ethic, the Pizzigati Prize has been developed with the help of a distinguished Advisory Panel of national leaders in public interest computing.  This panel plays a critical, ongoing role in shaping and administering the Antonio Pizzigati Prize.

The panelists, chosen through an application process administered by Tides Foundation, have shaped the basic guidelines for the prize submission review process and will select the prize awardees.

The current Pizzigati Prize Advisory Panel includes:

  • Allison Fine, author of the soon to be published book, “Momentum:  Igniting Social Change in the Connected Age”

  • Joseph Mouzon, Network for Good

  • Katrin Verclas, Innovation Funders Network and MobileActive
  • George Hotelling, the inaugural winner of the Pizzigati Prize in 2006
The prize was originally created, and is also advised, by the Pizzigati family, with Sam, Karabelle, and Nick Pizzigati all involved. Tides Foundation manages the prize.
