“I have been an open source proponent since before the term was invented,” says Warsaw, who released his first open source code in the mid 1980s, “The next major revision of Mailman is being developed completely in the open, with considerable community input and support. Mailman is free for all to use. It is also free for all to modify. These are absolutely core principles for me personally and for the project.”
